Lauren Ciancio is an Associate Clinical Social Worker in California. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and provides therapy to Individuals, Couples, and Groups for Adults and Adolescents.

Lauren specializes in working with Trauma, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Identity exploration, Relationship/Intimacy challenges, and the often-overlooked relationship we have with ourselves. Whether clients are navigating overwhelming stress, grief, or a longing for greater authenticity, Lauren offers a space where healing begins through deep connection and presence.  Additionally, Lauren has experience working with Depressive Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Grief, LGBTQIA+ Support, Academic Stress, Alcohol/Substance Use and Addiction, Women’s Issues, and Cultural Identity Issues.

With training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and a grounding in Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and DBT Lauren blends evidence-based techniques with a warm, relational style. Her approach is rooted in the belief that people are not broken and don’t need to be fixed – rather, her role is to walk alongside them as they reconnect with their inner strength, clarity, and sense of self.

Lauren’s therapeutic style is compassionate, collaborative, and attuned to the individual. She is committed to creating a space where clients feel safe enough to explore the unspoken, care for the parts of themselves that have been neglected, and build lives that feel whole, empowered, and true.
