Rossaleana Williams is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) who received her Bachelor’s degree from Antioch University Los Angeles and obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University New England.
Rossaleana is a culturally sensitive therapist. Growing up in Los Angeles, she has immersed herself in African-American and Latino culture and experienced firsthand the intricacies of her family’s dynamics and cultural background.
Rossaleana has clinical experience working with Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and groups treating Depression, Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Trauma, Family Issues, Behavioral Issues, Relationship Issues, Stress, Grief, Personal Growth, and Self Esteem, in addition to other issues and diagnoses.
She has an eclectic approach and draws from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and client-centered modalities, and is also trained in EMDR. She works collaboratively with her clients to build a strong therapeutic alliance while tailoring treatment to each client’s personality and specific areas of focus.
Rossaleana believes that true progress comes from working as a team – understanding a client’s goals and moving toward them together. She approaches every client with the same empathy and understanding she believes we should all extend to one another, creating a space where clients feel genuinely met and supported.
